Dr. Hari McGowan
Dr. Hari McGowan
As a Tennessee State University grad, Dr. McGowan received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. His compassion for and ability to relate to children always allowed him to communicate with and calm even the most anxious patients. “I’m not just the dentist, I’m the kid that had a bunch of cavities.” His love for oral surgery pushed him to gain further knowledge and experience in the field by completing a post-graduate internship with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons at Harlem Hospital in New York City. After completing his internship, Dr. McGowan then completed a residency in general practice at General Hospital/ Meharry Medical College. Striving to then reach his original goal of becoming a pediatric dentist, he completed a pediatric dental residency at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Dr. McGowan’s education has provided him with knowledge in fields from oral trauma and wisdom teeth extractions to cosmetic dentistry.
